Well, we're just about finished up with the Literature Elements section. Now we are moving onto what English class is all about, novels! I know, I know, you probably hate novels and think they should disappear; however, I'm trying to do this a tad bit differently. First, we'll start with the academic classes. We are going to do a Myths, Fairytale and Legend unit. For this unit, you will be able to choose your own book from the library to read. So, hoepfully, you will be able to find something you like. For the Honors class, we will be doing a Novel unit on Tangerine. This unit will obviously consist of reading the novel, but the students will also be creating a newspaper for the book.
