The Devil's Arithmetic is a thought provoking novel that takes a modern American teenageer back to a Polish Viliage in 1942. Unfortunately for Hannah, the villiage in which she has been sent back to is about to be taken over by the Nazis. This novel shows the atrocities that the Nazi regime did to the Jewish people in Eurpoe during World War II.
